Johan van Lierop is a New York based architect and designer with over 15 years of International experience in the field. Born in the Netherlands, van Lierop studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Maastricht earning a BA degree in Interior and Product design and later received his Master of Science degree in Architecture at the prestigious Delft University of Technology. 

Upon graduation, van Lierop relocated to New York City where he landed a position at renowned Steven Holl Architects, working on world class commissions such as the Nelson Atkins Art museum in Kansas City and the Langelois Hotel in Austria.  Following his tenure at Holl, van Lierop joined Ten Arquitectos and was a key member of the high profile Guggenheim Museum project in Guadalajara, Mexico. Van Lierop is currently a Principal architect at Studio Libeskind and runs his own studio, Architales, out of Brooklyn.
